This Brit biker-metal trio really wants to be Motörhead. And they're pros at it, swinging boogie riffs fast, staying concise, letting bassist Conan roar in a bad-habit voice about all his enemies. He's funny about that, insisting a would-be tough-guy "Sheep in Wolf's Clothing" "can't pull the wool over my eyes." Almost every song is hooked with multiple catchphrase couplets and hot guitar leads. Then again, almost every song sounds the same, which makes hints of 1980 Van Halen in "Waster" and Diamond Head in "Wrecking Ball" even more welcome than "Hangman's Rope"'s set-closing gallows humor.
