If you can get past the fact that this record feels like a last-ditch attempt on James' part to grab anything even resembling street cred, and a few of the Beatles-isms are more puke-adelic than anything, you will find quite a little lost gem. The title cut is one of the all-time great songs, "Kathleen McArthur" is horrendous and "Crystal Blue Persuasion" is timeless.
